We have requested learned counsel for the petitioner to address us on the delay in approaching the Court for relief regarding promotions made by the respondents/RPF, to the post of Motor Driver, Grade-I, wherein, as per the petitioner, he had obtained the highest marks in the examination but candidates having lower merits were allegedly promoted over his head. 2.

After addressing arguments for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition while reserving the right of the petitioner to approach the superior officers with his grievance. 3.

Leave as prayed for, is granted.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
