By the present petition the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 314/2016 under Sections 406/498A/34/377 IPC registered at PS Najafgarh, Delhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after the registration of the FIR the parties were referred to mediation where the matter has been settled between the parties at the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts and in terms of the said settlement the petitioner and the complainant are residing happily as husband and wife. Copy of the proceedings dated 2nd December, 2016 before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts has been handed over which is taken on record.

Considering the fact that the parties have settled the matter this Court BAIL APPLN. 2120/2016
deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹5,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that he will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer.
