By this petition, petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after his mother who is suffering from heart ailment and also his daughter, who is suffering from tuberculosis. He also challenges the communication dated 14th August, 2018 wherein his application for parole was rejected on the ground that he had availed furlough for a period of two weeks in the month of April-May, 2018.

On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report, medical documents of the mother and daughter of the petitioner have been verified. The daughter of the petitioner has been found to be suffering from tuberculosis.

Considering the ailment of the daughter, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period four weeks from the date of his release on his W.P.(CRL) 2716/2018

furnishing a personal bond in the sum of `20,000/- with one surety of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM/Duty Magistrate.

Copy of the order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
