% 20.10.2016 Crl. M.A. No. 16324/2016 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. W.P.(CRL) 3048/2016 On the complaint of respondent no. 2, present FIR No. 95/2016 under Section 420 IPC was registered at Police Station Lajpat Nagar against the petitioners. Disputes between the parties arose out of the sale transaction of immovable property bearing no. A-52, Chittranjan Park, New Delhi.

Petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 12th February, 2016 on the terms and conditions as stipulated in the proceeding of the Mediation Centre (Annexure P-2).

It may be noted that respondent no. 2 was represented before the Mediation Centre through her husband and attorney Shri Anil Bansal. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her husband and attorney Shri Anil Bansal and admits having settled the matter with the petitioners. She has also received the entire settled amount. She submits that FIR may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that the disputes have civil flavour, inasmuch as parties have settled the same before the Mediation Centre, inasmuch as terms thereof stand complied with, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 95/2016 under Section 420 IPC registered at Police Station Lajpat Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
