CRL.M.C. 3821/2016 & Crl. M. A. 15995/2016 (Stay) This is a petition filed by the petitioner under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of the FIR No.214/2013 under Section 279 IPC and Section 3/181 of the Motor Vehicles Act registered with P.S. Vasant Kunj North, Delhi and all pending proceedings therefrom. Notice.

Mr. Panna Lal Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor

accepts notice on behalf of the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties vide MOU dated 13.08.2016 and copy of the same is also placed on record.

The complainant/respondent No.2 is present in the court today and he is identified by Investigating Officer. The complainant also admits that the matter has been settled vide MOU dated 13.08.2016. He further submits that he has no objection if the aforesaid FIR No. 214/2013 under Section 279 IPC and Section 3/181 of the Motor Vehicles Act registered with P.S. Vasant Kunj North, Delhi be quashed and further confirmed that the agreement reached between the parties is without coercion, pressure and the same is volunteered. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, to meet the ends of justice FIR No. 214/2013 under Section 279 IPC and Section 3/181 of the Motor Vehicles Act registered with P.S. Vasant Kunj North, Delhi and all the proceedings arising therefrom stands quashed.

Accordingly, the present petition as well as application stand disposed of.
