% 17.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 17th August, 2016.

Certified copy of the Settlement has been placed on record. Respondent no.2, who is present in Court and has been identified by SI Suresh Sharma of police station Kalkaji, admits having settled the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably and respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 977/15 under Sections 354-D/506 IPC

registered at police station Kalkaji and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
