The petitioner raised an industrial dispute which resulted in the award dated 19th July, 2002 whereby the petitioner was granted reinstatement with backwages.

The respondent challenged the award by W.P.(C)1856/2003 before this Court which was dismissed on 28th April, 2015. After the judgment dated 28th April, 2015, the respondent complied with the award and made the payment of the outstanding amount to the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner has now filed a fresh writ petition seeking regularization of his service.

This Court is of the view that this writ petition is not maintainable as the award dated 19th July, 2002 has already attained finality upon dismissal of the writ petition challenging the award vide judgment dated 28th April, 2015 which has been complied with by the respondent. 4.

The writ petition is dismissed.
