% 18.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.180/2009 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station CAW Cell, Nanakpura on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Petitioner no.2 is mother of petitioner no.1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Beg Raj Yadav P.S. CAW Cell, Nanakpura. Respondent no.2 submits that the settlement has been arrived at with petitioner no.1 before the

Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, Delhi on 30th November, 2015. Respondent no.2 says that she has received the entire settled amount from the petitioner no.1 and her marriage with petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 3rd August, 2016 passed by the Family Courts, West District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. She says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.180/2009 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station CAW Cell, Nanakpura, and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
