W.P.(CRL) 3085/2016 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.692/2015 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Section 408 IPC against the petitioner at Police Station - Ashok Vihar. The complainant is present in Court and he accepts notice. As proof
of his identity, he has produced his driving license. A copy of the same has been retained on record. He has also produced the extract of the Board Resolution passed by Vidhur & Co. Pvt. Ltd/ the complainant. The same is taken on record.
The parties have arrived at a settlement on 30.08.2016, which has been placed on record. Under the settlement, out of the total settlement amount of Rs.2,75,000/-, the complainant has already received an amount of Rs.1,75,000/-. An amount of Rs.1,00,000/- has been tendered to him in Court today. The complainant states that he has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that he has entered the settlement out of his own free will. The complainant further states that he joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.
Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed.
