CRL.M.C. 3926/2016 This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.229/2012, under Sections 385/34 IPC, registered at Police Station-Geeta Colony, Delhi.

Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners and the complainant are residing in the nearby locality. Learned counsel for the petitioners has further submitted that due to misunderstanding, the complainant has registered FIR No.229/2012, under Sections 385/34 IPC. Counsel for the petitioners further submitted that later on with the

intervention of friends and near relatives, the matter has been settled vide settlement deed dated 30th August, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the petitioners and the complainant are in the cordial relation and in order to maintain cordial relation amongst the parties in near future, the present FIR in question may be quashed against the petitioners. Respondent No.2/complainant, Smt. Sukhvinder Kaur is present in Court today and is identified by Sub Inspector Naresh Kumar, Police Station Geeta Colony.

Respondent No.2/complainant admits that she has entered into settlement/compromise with the petitioners and has no grievance and the settlement/compromise reached between the parties is voluntarily, without any force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she has no objection if the present FIR in question is quashed against the petitioners. Looking into the facts and circumstances, since the petitioners and the complainant/respondent No.2 are neighbours and are residing in the nearby locality, to meet the ends of justice, FIR No.229/2012, under Sections 385/34 IPC, registered at Police Station-Geeta Colony, Delhi and all the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.
