The insurance company questions the impugned award by impugned judgment dated 25.03.2017 in the face of claim arising out of the death of a child aged 13 years.

On being asked, the learned counsel for the appellant fairly conceded that the calculations have been made in accord with the decision of this court in Chetan Malhotra Vs. Lala Ram, MACA No.554/2010 decided on 13.05.2016.

In this view, the appeal lacks substance and is dismissed in limine. The pending applications also stand dismissed. MAC Appeal No.634/2017

The statutory amount shall be refunded after the award has been satisfied.
