The challenge in this petition is to the letter dated August , 08, 2014 rejecting the application of the petitioner for grant of alternative plot on the ground that the land of the petitioner has not been acquired in entirety. It is noted from the petition and also acknowledged by Mr. Jain, that the petitioner is relying on the document (at page 54) to contend that the entire land of the petitioner has been acquired. Mr. Jain submits, as the said document is of a date subsequent to the impugned letter, the writ petition of

the petitioner shall be treated as a representation and a speaking and reasoned order shall be passed. Noting the submission, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the concerned authority to consider the writ petition of the petitioner as a representation and dispose of the same by a reasoned and speaking order, within a period of eight weeks by giving the petitioner a hearing on a date and time, to be fixed by the concerned authority. It goes without saying that if the petitioner is still aggrieved by an order to be passed by the concerned authority, the liberty shall be with the petitioner to seek such remedy as available in accordance with the law. The writ petition is disposed of.
