1. A communication dated 25th January 2019 addressed to the Petitioner states that the adverse remarks endorsed in his Annual/Part Performance Assessment Report (APAR) for the year 2014-2015 which had been communicated to the Petitioner by letter dated 18th June 2015 "have been withdrawn" as per the directions of the Headquarters (DG BSF) by communication dated 10th October 2018.
2. In that view of the matter, the main relief sought for by the Petitioner in the present petition does not survive. If the Petitioner has any further grievance, he is permitted to make a representation not later than four weeks from today, which if made within the said time, will be considered on merits
by the Respondents and a decision communicated to the Petitioner within six weeks thereafter.
3. The petition is disposed of in the above terms. The pending application is also disposed of.
