% 08.08.2024 The present petition has been filed seeking leave to appeal against the judgment dated 03.04.2017 passed by learned ACMM, Rohini Courts, in Complaint Case No.11408/2016 titled as "Smt. Chandra Kanta Vs. Gokul Chand Dass" whereby the learned ACMM acquitted the respondent of an offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that another Crl.L.P.429/2017 titled as "Gaurav Rai vs. Gokul Chand Dass" was filed, and in the same, the leave to appeal has been granted by this Court vide order dated 15.01.2020. I have perused the order dated 15.01.2020 in Crl.L.P. 429/2017. Since both the petitions are on the similar facts, the leave to appeal is granted. Registry is directed to re-number the present petition as Criminal Appeal.
