O R D E R

% 17.11.2017 Respondent no.2/complainant is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Prabhakaran of police station Chhawla. She submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners vide Settlement Deed dated 1st March, 2016 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed in view of the settlement arrived at between her and petitioners, who are living the same locality.

In the FIR, respondent no.2 has alleged that petitioners entered in her plot where she was living and asked her to vacate on the pretext that they

had purchased the plot. Petitioners started throwing her belonging and beat her, inasmuch as, tore her clothes.

Keeping in view that petitioners and respondent no.2 are living in the same locality and now they have compromised the matter voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.327/2013 under Sections 451/452/448/427/354/ 323/506/34 IPC registered at police station Chhawla and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
