% 14.12.2024 The appellant seeks enhancement of compensation over and above what has been granted by the learned Tribunal vide award dated 29.03.2016.

We have interacted with the learned counsels and the parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, the parties have agreed that respondent no.3/Insurance Company shall pay enhanced compensation Rs. 12,00,000/- over and above the compensation granted by the learned Tribunal to the appellant. In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent no.3/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount of compensation to the tune of Rs. 12,00,000/- before the Concerned Tribunal within a period of five weeks from The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. today, failing which the respondent shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a. for the delayed period.
