This petition is directed against the order of dismissal whereby the petitioner, a Sub-Inspector in the Central Industrial Security Force has been dismissed from service on the ground of misconduct. It appears that the petitioner has been held guilty in an enquiry into the charges levelled against her in the chargesheet which is dated 7th April, 2015. W.P.(C) 9650/2016 Page 1/2

An Appeal against the order of dismissal has been dismissed. However, a Revision Petition filed by the petitioner under Rule 54 of the Central Industrial Security Force Rules, 2001 is pending disposal. 5.

After hearing the respective parties, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Director General, CISF, Headquarters to hear and dispose of the Revision Petition filed on behalf of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event the decision is against the petitioner, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the same by initiation of appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
