% 12.02.2018 Respondent no.2-Ruksana is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Jaivind of police station Kalyanpuri. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Court, Delhi on 18th March, 2017 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Petitioner no.1 has paid `3 lacs to the respondent no.2 vide two demand drafts, photocopy whereof has been placed on recod. Respondent no.2 submits that with this payment entire settled amount of `6.65 lacs stand paid. Respondent no.2 has handed over duly signed Form 28 and Form 29 to the petitioner no.1 in order to facilitate him to get the motorcycle
transferred in his name, in terms of the Clause 8 of the Settlement Agreement. Respondent no.2 says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 39/2012 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Kalyanpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
