% 18.01.2017 None has appeared for the petitioner.

Learned counsel for appearing for SDMC under instructions submits Court that demolition action qua the disputed property has already been taken and the entire building being unauthorized the complete demolition of the entire building has been effected on 16.01.2017 and 17.01.2017. He has placed on record photographs to substantiate this submission. These photographs do substantiate that a large part of the building has been demolished. Learned counsel for the respondent/SDMC further submits that all further action in accordance with law which has already been initiated shall be

completed and shall be taken to its ultimate goal. This statement of the SDMC is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that this commitment shall be honoured in true letter and spirit. Learned counsel for SDMC further informs this Court that the police authorities i.e. the local SHO (represented in Court) have also been informed and have been directed to keep a strict vigil around the clock.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Since none has appeared for the petitioner this petition is dismissed in default as also on merits.
