O R D E R

% 25.10.2016 Petitioner and respondent no. 4 are the real brothers. There is a civil dispute pending between them over the property. Petitioner has alleged that respondent no. 4 had raised unauthorized construction in his property, which is adjoining to the petitioner's property, resulting in cracks in his building. Petitioner made a complaint to New Delhi Municipal Corporation, which has served the demolition notice.

Respondent no. 4 has, thus, turned

inimical towards the petitioner and is threatening with dire consequences. Petitioner has approached this Court for seeking police protection. Notice. Learned Additional Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondent nos. 1 and 2. Counsel for the respondent nos. 3 and 4 have also entered appearance. As regards the disputes as to whether the construction is unauthorized or not, is not the subject matter of this writ petition. Petitioner is seeking police protection.

Counsel for the respondent no. 4 accepts notice and submits that respondent no. 4 has not threatened the petitioner nor has any intention to do so.

Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of with the directions to respondent no. 2 to sensitize the beat staff, who shall visit the petitioner off and on to inquire about the safety of petitioner.
