CORAM:

HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE V. KAMESWAR RAO

O R D E R

% 12.12.2018 Against an interim order passed by the learned Writ Court refusing permission to the appellants to hold Ramleela functions during the ensuing Dussehra festival, the appeal was filed. By an interim order, the appellants were permitted to carry out the Ramleela function in the area and now the same is over, the larger issue with regard to permitting such functions in the area and its implications and the Public Interest Litigation with regard to allowing such functions in the areas reserved for park or playground is an

issue, which needs to be considered by the learned Writ Court on merit. Therefore, now we see no reason to make any indulgence in the matter, as the purpose of filing an appeal for interim relief, which was refused by the learned Writ Court has already been achieved by virtue of interim protection granted to the appellants and therefore we dispose of this appeal by relegating the parties to the learned Writ Court to ventilate their grievances, if any.

All legal questions involved in the mater are kept open, to be considered by the learned Writ Court.

CHIEF JUSTICE V. KAMESWAR RAO, J DECEMBER 12, 2018/ak
