2.1 Mr. Mittal accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. Learned counsel for the respondent says that he does not wish to file any reply in view of the fact that he does not oppose the prayer made for extension of time.

To be noted, learned Arbitrator entered upon reference on 07.02.2017. Parties mutually agreed for extension of time by a period of six months on 19.01.2018 as the statutory period of 12 months was coming to an end.

O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 229/2018

Learned counsel for the parties submit that the matter is at the stage of evidence and, therefore, time to render the Award be extended by another six months.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances, time for rendering the Award is extended by another six months, commencing from 09.08.2018.

Petition disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
