% 17.04.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.201/2017 under Section 365 IPC registered at PS Gokulpuri on the complaint of respondent No.2.

A status report has been filed by the State. As per the status report statement of Ms. Rukhsar, daughter of respondent No.2 who has married the petitioner has since been recorded. As per the status report Ms. Rukhsar is a major and since she has married the petitioner of her own free will and W.P.(CRL) 1787/2017

volition, a cancellation report is being prepared. Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the cancellation report will be filed before the Court of competent jurisdiction within two weeks.

In view of the statement of learned Additional Standing counsel for the State, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to take remedies in case the learned Metropolitan Magistrate takes cognizance against the petitioner.
