By this petition the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.328/2016 under Sections 308/341/506/34 IPC registered at PS Karawal Nagar, Delhi.

The allegations in the above noted FIR lodged on the statement of Radhey Shyam were that he was working as a lineman in Karawal Nagar for the last ten years and on 29th September, 2016 he had gone to remove the electricity meter at House No.D-259, Khasra No. 60, Gali No. 8, New Sabhapur, Delhi along with his associates. At the spot they met the house owner Anil K. Jha and his wife, that is, the present petitioner. When they started removing the electricity meter, petitioner's husband caught hold of the complainant and restrained him from removing the electricity meter and the petitioner gave a danda blow on the head of the complainant. As per the MLC of the complainant the injuries were found to be simple in nature. The petitioner has already joined the investigation and the alleged weapon of offence has already been recovered. 4.

Considering the fact that the weapon of offence has been recovered and the injury on the complainant was opined to be simple in nature, this Court deems it fit to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.

It is, therefore, directed that in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/SHO concerned further subject to the condition that she will join the investigation as and when directed by the Investigating Officer and will not leave the country without prior permission of the court concerned. 6.

Petition is disposed of.
