By the present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks expeditious/time bound disposal of the eviction petition which is pending before the ARC.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that evidence of the petitioner/landlord was completed on 07.04.2015 that too after several adjournments sought by the respondents. The order sheets also show that the respondents took adjournments on 31.08.2015, 27.11.2015, 06.01.2016 and 12.05.2016.

In view of the above, the trial court is requested to expeditiously

dispose of the present eviction petition. After disposal of the applications under Order 22 Rule 3 and 4 CPC, the ARC may fix a date/dates for recording of evidence of the respondents on which date/dates the evidence be completed. No adjournment should be granted to the parties on that date. 4.

The petition stands disposed of.
