CRL.M.C. 4242/2016 On the complaint of respondent no. 2, present FIR No. 355/2016 under Sections 354-A/354-B/354-D/506/341/34 IPC was registered at Police Station Govind Puri. Petitioners are neighbours of respondent no. 2. With the intervention of common friends and other family members, petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 6th October, 2016.
Respondent no. 2 is present in
Court along with her grandmother and has been identified by SI Abhishek Singh, P.S. Govind Puri. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably and respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in the interest of justice, the FIR No. 355/2016 under Sections 354-A/354-B/354-D/506/341/34 IPC registered at Police Station Govind Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
