By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole on the ground that he has to look after his aged mother who is suffering from various ailments. Along with the petition, no medical document to show that the mother of the petitioner is suffering from various ailments has been placed. The family of the petitioner comprising of his wife and two teen aged sons was found residing at the address mentioned. Two daughters of the petitioner are already married. As per the verification report, the petitioner is involved in other cases as well. The petitioner has been awarded sentence of imprisonment for a period of 5 years out of which he has undergone nearly half the sentence.

Considering that no medical document of the ailment of the mother of the petitioner has been placed on record, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.

Petition is dismissed.

Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
