CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 18.09.2018 Counsel for respondent no. 2 BSES Rajdhani Power Limited submits that respondent no. 2 has no objection if FIR is quashed as the matter has been settled between the petitioners and the respondent no. 2 inasmuch as settled amount already stands paid.
In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR no. 70/2015 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act (Amendment) 2003 registered at P.S. Neb Sarai and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous.
