% 12.09.2018 Crl.M.A. No. 31835/2018 (Exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.
W.P.(CRL) 2717/2018 Notice.
Learned proxy counsel for learned ASC for the State accepts notice. By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of two months and also challenges the communication dated 24th August, 2018 informing rejection of his application which sought parole on the ground to re-establish social ties.
A perusal of the nominal roll of the petitioner reveals that the petitioner was awarded sentence of imprisonment for a period of three years W.P.(CRL) 2717/2018 and to pay fine. The unexpired portion of the petitioner's sentence is now
almost two months and fine has already been paid, thus this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner.
Petition is dismissed.
Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
