O R D E R

% 17.09.2018 FIR No. 86/2013 under Sections 420/468/471 IPC was registered at police station Najafgarh on the complaint of respondent no. 2 Shri Somnath. During the investigation, offences under Sections 323/341/506 IPC were added. It is submitted that respondent no. 2 has settled his disputes with the petitioner amicably before the Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 17th December, 2013, therefore, it is prayed that the offences under Sections 468/471 IPC may be quashed.

It is noted that offences under Sections 323/341/506/420 IPC have

already been compounded by the trial court vide order dated 18th October, 2014 in view of settlement and petitioner has been acquitted for the said offences.

In view of the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre and also keeping in mind that other offences have already been compounded by the trial court, I am of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending in respect of the offences under Sections 468/471 IPC as well.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed in respect of these provisions.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
