% 23.02.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably vide compromise deed dated 5th October, 2016 (Annexure B), accordingly, FIR may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Randheer Kumar PS Fatehpur Beri. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement. Petitioner and respondent no.2 are related to each other.

In view of the settlement arrived at between petitioner and respondent no.2 voluntarily, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, FIR No.173/2015 under Sections 506/509/354D IPC registered at police station Fatehpur Beri and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
