% 23.07.2019 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that vide office order dated 31.05.2019, the Chairman, Rajya Sabha has accorded sanction under Rule 3(1)(b) of the Rajya Sabha Secretariat (Recruitment and Conditions of Services) Rules, 1957, for the abolition of 20 temporary posts of Attendant Grade-III in the Pay Band-I of ₹5200-20200 with grade pay of ₹1900/Level-2 (pre-revised/revised Level in the Pay Matrix) in the Rajya Sabha Television (Administrative and Financial Unit) with effect from 23.05.2019. Thus, the present writ petition has become infructuous. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner does not dispute the submissions made by the counsel for the respondent and seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to challenge the order dated 31.05.2019.
Permission is granted with liberty as prayed for.
