% 05.07.2017 This is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed by the husband and mother of Sapna, who has left her matrimonial home on 6.5.2017 with two minor children, aged five years and 21⁄2 years. Sapna has been produced in Court. She submits that on account of illtreatment by her in-laws, more particularly father-in-law, and her husband, being a passive spectator, she was forced to leave her matrimonial home. She submits that she was given shelter by her sister-in-law (husband's sister) and her brother-in-law for two days, thereafter, she is residing separately. She is also employed and is doing household work for a lady. She submits that she does not want to join her matrimonial home on account of her being ill-treated.

Based on the above statement, the present petition is dismissed as not pressed. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioner No.2 would seek appropriate remedy as available in accordance with law. G.S.SISTANI, J A.K. CHAWLA, J JULY 05, 2017 tp
