1. The prayer in the present petition is as under: "Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other like writ, Direction[s] or order[s] of like nature thereof, thereby declaring that the acquisition proceedings of entire land falling in Khasra No. 196 (0-15] and 206 (0-14], of Village-Chhattar pur, New Delhi total ad-measuring area 01 Bigha 09 Biswa, situated in the revenue estate Village -Chhattar Pur, New Delhi, declaring that Award No. 15/1987-88 in respect of the above said subject land being 01 Bighas 09 Biswas is deemed to have lapsed in view of section 24 [2] of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013."

2. Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to file a proper petition explaining the inordinate delay in approaching the Court for the above relief.

3. The petition and application are dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
