% 21.10.2016 Petitioners and respondent no.2 are related to each other. Petitioner no.1 is sister-in-law of respondent no.2; whereas petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are husband and son of petitioner no.1 respectively. Respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that petitioners had taken jewellery/cash from his wife on different occasions but had not returned the same. They misappropriated the same. Petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre vide Settlement Agreement dated 26th September, (Annexure P-1).
Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with his counsel and a dmits that he has received entire settled amount. He submits that he is not willing to
pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in mind the above facts, FIR 610/2016 under Sections 406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Prashant Vihar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
