W.P.(CRL) 3076/2016 Learned counsel for the State requests and is granted permission to place on record the status report.

The status report confronts and denies several assertions made in the writ petition.

Respondent no.5 - Smt. Ruchi is present in person in the Court alongwith two children aged about 9 and 6 years. Ms Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate representing Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee who is present in the Court has interacted with the

children in the chamber in presence of Ruchi. Later on, we had spoken to the children in the chamber. The petitioner - Aditya Luthra was called in the chamber and has interacted with the children in presence of Ms Pallavi S. Kansal, Advocate. Respondent no.5 at that time was not present. Parental grandmother of children is also present in the Court. She is allowed to sit and interact with the children for half an hour outside the Court. The present case pertains to a matrimonial dispute between the respondent no.5 - Ruchi and the petitioner - Aditya Luthra. A guardianship case is stated to be pending in the Guardianship Court and is listed on 17.01.2017. It will be open to the petitioner to raise the issue regarding meeting / visitation rights in guardianship case. In view of aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
