W.P.(C) 10050/2016 After hearing learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respective parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2 to treat the writ petition as a representation of the petitioner seeking absorption and to take a decision on the representation in accordance with law within six weeks.

The petitioner may file an affidavit giving further and better

particulars of his claim to absorption as required by the respondent No.2. It is made clear that the time frame for consideration of the representation is mandatory.
