BAIL APPLN. 2187/2016 FIR No. 780/2016 under Sections 27/54/59 Arms Act read with Sections 392/394/397/34 IPC has been registered at Police Station New Usmanpur on the complaint of Neeraj Sharma. He has categorically stated that he was going with his mother on motorcycle when he was intercepted by two boys. One boy put a pistol on the head of his mother, while other snatched gold chain. When he tried to catch hold of the assailant, he fired and the bullet struck his left shoulder

Keeping in mind the serious nature of offence as well as custodial interrogation is required to recover the gold chain, pistol etc., in my view, petitioner is not entitled to anticipatory bail. Application is dismissed.
