IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI
+ CRL.M.C. 4310/2016 DHARAMVIR CHAUDHARY ..... Petitioner Through: Mr. Prakash Pandey, proxy counsel versus STATE & ANR.
..... Respondents Through: Mr. Sanjeev Sabharwal, APP for State
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE R.K.GAUBA
O R D E R
% 16.01.2019 A proxy counsel is present for the counsel for the petitioner only to seek an adjournment. On being asked about the reasons why the counsel is not present, he states that he is pre-occupied elsewhere. This is no good reason why the matter should be adjourned. On the last date, the petitioner's counsel had sought an adjournment so that affidavit of the second respondent could be brought on record, the prayer being based on she confirming the settlement. No steps have been taken in this regard nor any affidavit has come on record. The counsel present is clue less.
The petition is dismissed for want of prosecution. R.K.GAUBA, J JANUARY 16, 2019 yg
