Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by the learned APP for the State.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued to the Trial court to expedite the recording of the prosecution evidence, he shall not press his present bail application.

Learned APP for the State submits that only 15 formal/official witnesses are remaining to be examined and all public witness have already been examined.

In view of the above, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and preferably conclude the same within a period of two months from the next date of hearing BAIL APPLN. 2251/2016

(i.e. 02.05.2018).

In view of the above, learned counsel for the petitioner does not wish to press the present petition.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as not pressed but with the aforesaid directions.
