O R D E R

% 26.10.2016 Issue notice. Notice is accepted on behalf of the State. The petitioner has preferred the present writ petition to seek the quashing of order dated 08.09.2015 rejecting his application to seek parole. The petitioner also seeks parole for a period of two months for the purpose of preferring a Special Leave Petition.

Mr. Lao has tendered in court the status report. The local address of the petitioner has been verified. Though the petitioner has suffered an unsatisfactory jail conduct report in the year 2015, even thereafter he has been released on interim bail for a period of two weeks between 08.04.2016 and 22.04.2016 by this court and he has not misused the same.

In these circumstances, the impugned order is quashed and the petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be released on parole for a period of four weeks to be able to prefer the Special Leave Petition. At the time of his release, he shall:

i) furnish a personal bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent;

ii) he shall provide his mobile phone number to the Jail Superintendent at the time of his release, which shall be kept in working condition at all times. The same shall not be changed without prior intimation to the Jail Superintendent;

iii) he shall report at the local police station to mark his attendance on every Monday at 11:00 a.m. during the period of parole; iv) he shall not leave the territory of Delhi.

v) he shall duly surrender at the end of the period of parole; vi) he shall also not indulge in any criminal activity while on parole; and vii) proof of receipt of filing of Special Leave Petition shall be produced. Petition stands disposed of. Dasti.
