% 09.01.2018 Present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking protection against her son and daughter-in-law i.e. respondents No. 6 & 7. She apprehends coercive action from them. Prayer is that adequate police protection be afforded to her. On earlier occasions, this submission of the petitioner had been noted. It had been noted that the petitioner had received a phone call from respondents No. 6 & 7 as also from the brother of respondent No. 7 and last call received by her on 27.12.2016. A fresh status report had been directed to be filed by the respondent/State. The fresh status report is on record. Learned ASC for the State under instructions from the Investigating Officer informs this Court that as per the call detail record, the ownership of the said mobile number
(provided by the petitioner to the Investigating Officer), was found to be in name of one Manoj Kumar; efforts to trace out the said person as also the accused could not be made. On the earlier date, it had been noted that respondents No. 6 & 7 had been declared as 'proclaimed offenders'; they had been declared as proclaimed offenders in FIR No.311/2016 registered at the behest of the petitioner under Sections 448/380/506 read with Section 34 of the IPC. Learned ASC for the State informs this Court that the beat constable of the area where the petitioner is residing has been sensitized and the mobile phone number of the said beat constable as also the Division Officers of the local police station has been handed over to the petitioner who in case of any urgency/emergency may contact the said officers, if need be. On her contacting the said officers, they will take immediate and appropriate action in accordance with law.
