W.P.(C) 10115/2016 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayers:- "(i) In view of the facts and circumstances stated above and in the interest of justice, it is, therefore, most humbly and respectfully prayed that this Hon‟ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass a appropriate order or direction thereby directing the respondent nos.1 and 2 to recommend the name of the petitioner to DDA for allotment of an alternate plot in lieu of his acquired land on the basis of seniority of petitioner as he has already been dispossessed due to acquisition of his agriculture land.

(ii) Award cost of the present petition in favour of the petitioner and against the respondents;

(iii) Issue any other or further appropriate writ, order or direction as this Hon‟ble Court deems fit and proper in the facts and

circumstances of the case, in favour of the petitioner and against the respondent."

Learned counsel appearing for both the respondents, on instructions states that the application of the petitioner for alternate plot has not been decided. She states that in view of the order dated 23rd March, 2016 Annexure P-6 of respondent no.1, the application needs to be decided by the Task Force (North District). She states, the competent authority is the Deputy Commissioner (North), Alipur, Delhi.

She further states that pursuant to the order dated 23rd March, 2016 files are in the process of being sent to the concerned Districts. She also states that the file of the petitioner shall be sent to the Deputy Commissioner (North) within three weeks from today. The said statement is taken on record. On receipt of the file, it is expected that the Deputy Commissioner, (North) shall decide the application for allotment of alternative plot in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. The petition is disposed of.
