Issue notice. Mr. Minocha accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 3.

Mr. Minocha says that he does not wish to file a reply since he has no objection to the request made for extension of time to render and publish the award by the concerned Arbitral Tribunal.

The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal entered upon reference on 14.3.2017, however, before the statutory period of twelve (12) months could expire, both the parties consented to the extension of time by a further period of six (6) months, on 18.1.2018, commencing from 14.3.2018. 5.

Counsel for the parties say that further extension of time would be O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 226/2018

required as the likelihood of the Arbitral Tribunal rendering an award before 14.9.2018 seems slim.

Accordingly, the time for rendering and publishing the award is extended till 31.12.2018.

The petition is disposed of.
