O R D E R

% 26.10.2016 Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 were living together in a live-in relation with effect from 24th January, 2015. The dispute arose between them, which led to the registration of the present FIR. Petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes before Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini vide settlement agreement dated 19th July, 2016 on the terms and conditions as stipulated therein. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 voluntarily without any fear, coercion or undue influence from any corner. Respondent no.2 further submits that she has received the entire settled amount and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2, FIR No.529/2016 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Prashant Vihar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
