% 03.10.2018 1.
Mr. Ahluwalia, learned CGSC for the petitioner/UOI submits that in view of the judgment dated 26.9.2018, passed by the Supreme Court in SLP(C) No. 31288/2017 entitled UOI vs. All India Equality Forum, he has instructions not to press the present petition. He however states that the petitioner/UOI will have to assess the impact of the said decision for giving effect thereto, which will take more time than has been granted under the impugned order.
2.
By the impugned order dated 13.3.2018, the Tribunal had granted a period of two months to the petitioner/UOI to take a decision on the representation of the respondents. The said period of two months reckoned from 30.3.2018, would have expired on 30.5.2018 whereas, the present petition has been filed by the petitioner only in the second week of September, 2018.
W.P.(C) 10158/2018
3.
Be that as it may, in view of the subsequent development, the time granted to the petitioner for making compliance of the impugned order, is extended for a period of three months reckoned from today. 4.
The present petition is disposed of along with the pending applications.
