Learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner has been granted the benefit of second financial upgradation under the ACP scheme vide order dated 29.11.2017, which was duly communicated to him vide order dated 12.12.2017. He states that further steps have been taken by the respondents to release the consequential benefits in favour of the petitioner, which shall take at least four weeks.

A letter dated 24.1.2018 issued by the Adjutant, ITBP, directing the release of consequential benefits is handed over and the same is taken on record.

The petition is disposed of, in view of the subsequent events. 4.

The respondents shall ensure that the financial benefits shall be released in favour of the petitioner within six weeks from today. HIMA KOHLI, J.
