The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.308/2014 registered under Sections 120B/420/468/471 IPC at PS Vasant Kunj (North). Status report is on record. 2.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. Learned counsel for the complainant informs that the matter has been settled with the petitioner and others and he has no objection to the grant of anticipatory bail.

It is further informed that the parties have filed petition for quashing of the FIR in question. 3.

By an order dated 13.02.2017, the petitioner was granted interim protection and was directed to join the investigation as and BAIL APPLN. 2191/2016

when required. Investigating agency was directed not to take coercive steps against the petitioner so that he may participate in the negotiation process.

Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then.

Since the matter has been settled between the parties and petition for quashing of the FIR in question has been filed, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required. 5.

The bail application stands disposed of.
