O R D E R

% 24.10.2016 Petitioners and respondent nos.2 to 5 are living in the same locality. They were known to each other. A quarrel took place between petitioners on the one hand and respondent nos.2 to 5 on the other wherein respondent nos.2 to 5 suffered injuries.

On the complaint of respondent no.2, FIR No.356/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC was registered at police station Karawal Nagar. Respondent nos.2 to 5 and the petitioners have settled their disputes amicably vide settlement deed dated 23rd September, 2016. Respondent nos.2 to 5 are present in Court and submit that they have settled the matter with the petitioners without any force, undue influence and coercion and are not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in mind the facts that parties were known to each other and a quarrel took place between them wherein petitioners assaulted respondent nos.2 to 5 resulting simple injuries to them and that they have settled the matter, in the interest of justice, FIR No.356/2015 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Karawal Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
