% 25.10.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to immediately provide an electricity connection at the premises of the petitioner bearing No.BB-110, First Floor, Subhash Basti, Nabi Karim, Paharganj, New Delhi-55.

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that subsequent to bill dated 30th July, 2014, no bills have been raised by the respondent and the electricity connection to the aforesaid premises has been disconnected without any reasonable cause.

Issue notice.

Mr.Manish Srivastava, Advocate accepts who appears on advance notices states that subsequent to the petitioner depositing an adhoc amount of Rs.10,000/-, he has no objection to the restoration of the petitioner's electricity connection.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions of the petitioner who is present in Court, states that the petitioner has no

objection to the deposit of Rs.10,000/-.

Consequently, with the consent of the parties, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to deposit an adhoc amount of Rs.10,000/- with the respondent within a period of one week. Upon deposit of the said amount, the respondent is directed to reconnect the electricity connection at the premises of the petitioner bearing No.BB-110, First Floor, Subhash Basti, Nabi Karim, Paharganj, New Delhi-55.

It is made clear that the present order is without prejudice to the rights of the respondent to raise an assessment bill in accordance with law.
